ZEYNEP CANSU ÖNER

Cansu is an inspiring business trainer and innovation professional who dedicated her career to promoting regenerative practices and a circular economy for current and future generations. She has trained hundreds of youth, changemakers, businesses, and entrepreneurs from 40 countries across Asia, Europe, LATAM, and Africa on circular economy and climate, inspiring them to embrace practices and mindset. Her guidance has helped various companies to adopt sustainable practices and embark on their paths.

As a thought leader, her expertise has taken her around the globe. She collaborated with various stakeholders, including the private and public sectors, academia, cities, and impact organizations such as Impact Hub Network, World Economic Forum, UNDP, and the Climate Reality Project throughout her work.

Cansu is a community builder and network weaver. She loves to spark a dialogue on complex issues and co-create solutions. As a life-long learner and trainer, her uniqueness comes from being BOLD (as people say about her) and experimenting.

Cansu's passion for exploration and travel from a young age has helped her to develop a deep sense of empathy and an ability to communicate across cultures.  

Cansu's exploratory spirit and her name which stands for 'WATER' and 'LIFE' have undoubtedly helped to shape her relationship with nature. She enjoys spending time in the sea, forests, and mountains. 

She is a rookie triathlete and three-time half-marathon runner, constantly pushing herself to new adventures. 

EMRE DİKMEN

Emre is an accomplished engineer, two-time entrepreneur, and digitalization expert who has made a significant impact in the tech industry. He has worked for Unilever and has experience working abroad, which has given him a global perspective on business and innovation.

Emre has guided more than 50 companies in their digitalization agendas and has scouted over 1000 tech startups, providing technical due diligence to help them succeed. He has also innovated multiple use cases, providing unique solutions to complex industrial problems.

One of Emre's most significant achievements is the founding of a company that uses wind power through kite technology at his 23. He remains passionate about this project and continues to innovate and drive its success. Emre's technical expertise and entrepreneurial spirit have made him a valuable contributor to the tech industry.

Emre believes that technology is a lever that humanity can benefit from in solving climate and nature problems and he still has not lost hope in humanity. He is a sailor and he is more than ready to craft the technology for nature's sake.

GIORDANO MARGAGLIO 

Gio is a driven and passionate change-maker working to shape new perspectives around natural hazards, disaster management, and climate resilience.
 
He is currently based in Sri Lanka, where he is working remotely as a Programme Analyst for Disaster Preparedness, Anticipatory Action, and Early Warning with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). 
 
In parallel, he is the co-founder of Ostia Clean-Up, a youth environmental organization based in Rome that - since 2019 - has mobilized thousands of volunteers in clean-ups, workshops, seminars, festivals, and innovative solutions related to sustainability and eco-conscious lifestyles. 
 
Gio's relationship with Nature is rooted in spirituality, philosophical inquiry, and surfing. One of the books that inspired him to define a new narrative around the climate crisis is Rob Hopkin’s "From What Is to What If: Unleashing the Power of Imagination to Create the Future We Want”. 
 
His additional interests revolve around migration and refugees, regenerative agriculture, indigenous communities, group facilitation, digital nomadism, volunteering, and meditation.

GIULIA BERTI

Giulia is an experienced project manager and fundraiser aiming for social and environmental impact to be embedded into innovation. 
 
As a Program Manager at Impact Hub Belgrade, Giulia works to support initiatives where entrepreneurs and changemakers can build and develop ideas that bring about positive change, especially focusing on green, inclusive, and digital solutions. 
 
With a background in social sciences and human rights, for over ten years she’s been a passionate and active learner of all the developments related to the interconnections between the effects of climate change with social inclusion, as well as economic, social, and cultural rights. She’s been closely following issues such as climate refugees’ rights, micro-insurance services for climate risks, new circular economy models, and social entrepreneurship’s impact on climate change adaptation and mitigation.
 
Talk to her about intercultural communication, politics, off-the-beaten-path traveling, mountains, and animals and you will make her happy.

DANIELA ARIAS

Daniela is passionate about positive social impact and food security through adequate nutrition, building fair productive value chains and no harm to the environment we live in, while using the available technology to its best use.

She is an Entrepreneur, Impact Officer & Co-Founder of Sibö. Studied human nutrition at the University of Costa Rica, Daniela had a heart felt decision after dealing with her grandparents’ chronic illnesses, she realised to learn how to take preventive action towards human health. During her studies, she learned about food systems, food security and how it influences our consumer choices based on availability, access and many other factors, including the environment. She specialised in Public Nutrition.
 
For the past 4 years, she has been a hands-on learner of food security, food systems, biotechnology, future food alternatives innovation, project management, social impact, impact measurement and social entrepreneurship.

She talks about food, culture, nature, innovation, and always tries to help someone or something in need. 

EMRE GÜZEL

Emre Güzel is a transdisciplinary social designer. His educational background is in Industrial Engineering and Global Citizenship. He took part in various rights-based advocacy projects by focusing on youth, and supporting rights-based civil society studies with his design skills.
 
He is the founder of Roof Coliving, which works on coliving, community building, participatory urban design approach, civic engagement, and social design. He continues to work with the aim of solving urban problems with the residents of the city and creating more equitable, inclusive, and coliving spaces with the projects and programs developed with the focus of citizen participation.

ALEJANDRO ORTEGA 

Accomplished entrepreneur and sustainability advocate with a proven track record in managing businesses, driving innovation, and developing green solutions. With extensive experience in food and technology business management. Founder of several companies, including Sibö Biotech, with a focus on sustainability and rural community development.
 
Ale's expertise extends to various areas such as project management, partnerships, innovation consulting, and chief marketing officer. As a seasoned professional, Ale is passionate about inspiring other entrepreneurs to take action and make a positive impact. Ale's career has spanned across diverse industries, from tech companies such as IBM to the food industry.
 
Ale believes that nature is the representation of all the good, and climate change are the effects of not nurturing and taking care of the good. His focus is to inspire actions to tackle climate change but without forgetting that there is also goodness to appreciate in the world. Ale is skilled in leading teams and achieving results. Ale is passionate about sports, science, food, and health, and have a particular love for animals. 

ZİŞAN ÖZDEMİR 

Zişan is a chemical engineer and an MSc. student in Socio-Ecological Sustainability at Boğaziçi University, Istanbul. She is working on her thesis on "The Role of climate policies in the effective adoption of climate technologies towards decarbonization".  She worked as a Sustainability Consultant and Product Manager at 3pmetrics, focusing on GHG Accounting. Before 3pmetrics, she worked at Impact Hub Istanbul in support programs for impact-oriented start-ups, at Ernst &Young Climate Change and Sustainability Services department in various sustainability and integrated reporting projects, and at Nike Istanbul and Hope Alkazar in the design and execution of projects focused on encouraging women and children's participation in sports in disadvantaged regions.
 
She has been a fellow and UIGuide at Stanford d.school UIF program since 2020.

ALPER GÜVEN 

As a Program Associate at Village Capital, Alper supports the design and delivery of regional and global entrepreneurship support programs. He is particularly passionate about the role of impact-driven innovation and entrepreneurship to address pressing challenges in developing countries. Before joining Village Capital, Alper worked on the entrepreneurship programs team of the social innovation platform ‘imece’ where he was responsible for implementing the support programs for early-stage impact startups.
 
Alper founded Arkhé Innovate, an organization that provides young impact makers in Turkey the tools, resources, and connections they need to scale their solutions.
